There’s a common saying in the CBD industry: “Not all CBD is created equally”, and for good reason. For starters, you can buy CBD oil with just a singular cannabinoid – Cannabidiol (CBD), or you can buy a full-spectrum CBD oil, which contains a collection of other cannabinoids in minor traces, including the intoxicating cannabinoid THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). In addition to full-spectrum CBD oil, there’s broad-spectrum CBD, which also hosts a catalogue of minor cannabinoids, but with the exclusion of THC.

Kodil Oils prides itself on only offering premium quality CBD products. But why can Kodil Oils make that claim? And what’s in Kodil Oils CBD oils that justify this?

Our Ingredients

If it’s not natural, it isn’t in there. Kodil Oils CBD oil derives from organic hemp which is then mixed with an all-natural carrier oil.

Our CBD oils differ in strength, but the process remains the same. The major ingredient of our oils is the carrier oil, which is an MCT oil (coconut). We opted for coconut oil as it offers a plethora of additional benefits e.g  a boost in brain function and a top-up of your good cholesterol. Furthermore, coconut oil has an improved flavour over the alternative – hemp seed oil.

The only other ingredients in Kodil Oils CBD oils come from the hemp plant, thus providing you with a whole-plant extract. Hemp is packed with thousands of unique therapeutical molecules that are categorised by cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.

Our CBD oils contain three CBD analogues: CBD, CBDA (cannabidiolic acid), and CBDV (cannabidivarin). Two analogues from “the mother of all cannabinoids: CBG (cannabigerol) and CBGA (cannabigerolic acid). These highly therapeutic cannabinoids are accompanied by CBC (cannabichromene), CBN (cannabinol), and THC. However, you may rest assured that our THC levels are not enough to induce a “high” – just enough to induce “the entourage effect”, giving you the plant’s optimum benefits.

In addition to cannabinoids, whole-plant extracts also preserve a collection of natural terpenes and flavonoids. Singularly, each of these molecules offers its own benefits; collectively, they enhance each other.
